yup buying a car that is 1-3 years old is almost always a bad idea. A TDi Sportwagen like this stickers at like 28-29. then there's manufacturer rebates, and dealer specials. So you're really better off just bitting the bullet and buying a new one. I mean really what's, an other 20-30 bucks/month on a 4-500 dollar car payment.

I had a 2010 TDI wagon. It was, simply put, a wonderful car. Just wonderful.

I'd rather have the 2.5L anyway. It's more like $21-22k brand new and still available with manual. Over the course of a 3 year lease, I don't think the diesel is worth it.
